KDM Travel Cancellation Policy

All reservations and cancellations must be received in advance and in writing or by email info@kdmtravelcr.com.

There will be no refund for services not voluntarily used.

If cancellations are made on the same day of the trip or service purchased, the right to reschedule is lost.

Cancellations made due to medical situations or illness in a period of less than 15 days must be supported by a Medical Certificate. In these special cases and medically endorsed, the client will be granted a refund of the money or a credit note in full. or failing that, for the amount of the payment. Any penalty or rate adjustment that the Hotel or other tour operator charges KDM Travel at the time of the refund could be reduced to this amount.

KDM Travel is not responsible for paying any compensation when the services purchased cannot be provided due to acts of God or major force, events such as wars, riots, strikes, natural disasters, terrorist acts, weather conditions or adverse situations beyond the control of KDM Travel. In issues related to problems caused by nature, the observation of flora and fauna, volcanoes or any natural attraction is not guaranteed, since they are outside human control. Any weather-related issues are also not guaranteed. These matters do not apply to complaints or refund requests.

Luggage is the total responsibility of the client, regardless of commercial or any other value, KDM Travel is not responsible for loss of luggage or valuables.

If you have complaints regarding the service you are receiving, please notify KDM Travel by emailing info@kdmtravelcr.com at which time our department will deal with your complaint immediately. Complaints after receiving the services of KDM Travel will not be subject to monetary refunds.

When visiting wild areas, national parks or other places of adventure in nature, it is assumed that the passenger is in good physical condition or has made the necessary provisions for its development. The client personally assumes the inherent risks and dangers that may occur. It also assumes the economic consequences for medical services that may be incurred in the event of an accident, eventuality or fatality.

If the client has health problems, physical limitations of any kind or a specific dietary regimen, it is essential to let KDM Travel know at the time of booking.

Penalties may apply for changes or modifications made at the client’s request on dates and/or itineraries of confirmed reservations.

The following are the conditions for cancellations for the tourist services we offer:

  • There is no penalty if cancellations are made more than 22 days prior to the clients’ arrival day.
  • For cancellations after this period, the following penalties apply:
    • 70% will be refunded, 22 to 12 days before the clients’ arrival.
    • 50% will be refunded 11 to 9 days before the clients’ arrival.
    • 20% will be refunded 8 to 5 days before the clients’ arrival.
    • No refund will be made from 02 to 0 days before the clients’ arrival.
    • After this term there will be no refund.

If there is any service that must be prepaid and the reservation is canceled after it, its refund will depend on the policies of the hotel or tour operator.
